Aikido


Prerequisites: None

Load: 1 P.M. - 2 P.M. on Jan. 10, 12, 17, 19 (Four 1-hour sessions over two weeks)

Special Instructions: Workout clothes. 


Aikido is a defensive, nonviolent, Japanese martial art in which you use the opponent's energy rather than your own to overcome the opponent. People of all ages and physical compositions can participate. This class is recommended for those who desire a good aerobic workout while working on the concepts involved in dealing with conflict without aggression. The work-outs have been described as "moving Yoga."
