Prerequisites: None

Load: Three 1-hour sessions over two weeks

Option 1: 1 P.M. - 2 P.M. on Jan. 9, 11, 18

Option 2: 11 A.M. - 12 P.M. on Jan. 9, 11, 18

Special Instructions: Workout clothes. Court shoes recommended. 


Pickleball is a fast growing racket sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The USAPA currently estimates that there are now over 100,000 players playing pickleball. It is played with the same lines as badminton but a lower net. The paddles are wooden and the ball plastic (resembling a wiffle ball). Upon completion of this course students should be able to demonstrate and execute the different strokes and understand the rules, strategies terminology associated with the game.
